Asparagus Spice Seasoning
SPICY ASPARAGUS SPEARS
- 1 1/2 lbs. fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1 to 3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. spicy seasoning
- 1/2 black pepper
- 1/2 tbls. rosemary & garlic seasoning
- 1 to 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
1. Snap off the woody fiber ends at the bottom of the spears. Wash the asparagus thoroughly in cold running water.
2. Heat skillet over med-high heat, add butter and olive oil. When the butter is melted, add asparagus and seasoning mix.
3. Cook until the asparagus is tender, SERVE HOT.
