Cajun-style Blackened Pork Chops
New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates how to make Blackened pork chops. Blackening is a cooking technique that is associated with Cajun cuisine and popularized by the great Louisiana Chef Paul Prudhomme. It involves adding oil most commonly butter and seasonings on to both sides of any type of meat or seafood that has a flat surface and from there it is cooked in a very hot cast iron skillet, creating a flavorful brownish black char onto both sides of the meat and seafood. This recipe makes 4 to 6 pork chops. It's tender, juicy, flavorful and absolutely delicious. Hope you all will give this recipe a try.
