Corn fritters

You won't be able to stop at one!

INGREDIENTS

  • 125g (1 cup) of flour
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp of paprika
  • Salt
  • 1/4 tsp of garlic powder
  • Pepper
  • 500g (3 cups) of corn
  • 2 eggs
  • Cilantro
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 80g (1 cup) of cheese
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) of almond milk
  • Oil for frying

METHOD

  1. In a bowl add the flour, baking powder, paprika, salt, garlic powder, and pepper and mix. Add the corn, eggs, cilantro, sugar, cheese, and milk and mix all well together.
  2. Add oil to a pan and heat oil until it begins to sizzle. Place batter for 4 fritters evenly spaced into the skillet.
  3. Press each one down lightly with the back of a spatula and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until they are golden brown.
