Ingredients:

For Gulab Jamun balls:

  • Sooji (fine semolina) -1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Milk powder -2 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder -1/4 tsp
  • Ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Raisins (kismis) - 15 (optional)
  • Cooking oil/ghee for frying

For syrup:

  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Water - 2 cup

(you can use 1 cup of sugar and one cup of water as well for small quantity)
