Ham Salad

This ham salad recipe is a quick and tasty lunch. It’s so good, you’ll want to eat it straight from the bowl – and you can with crackers!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked ham, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickles or relish, chopped
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Finely chop the cooked ham, dice the celery, chop the red onion, and chop the sweet pickles or relish.
  2. Mix the Salad:
    • In a large bowl, combine the chopped ham, diced celery, chopped red onion, and sweet pickles.
  3. Make the Dressing:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Combine Salad and Dressing:
    • Pour the dressing over the ham mixture and gently toss until well combined.
  5. Chill:
    • Refrigerate the ham salad for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve the ham salad on sandwiches, wraps, crackers, or as a topping for salads.
