Homemade Irish Cream
Nicole shows you how to make homemade Irish cream for the holiday season. Serve it on the rocks or alone for a comforting and rich seasonal drink!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Irish whiskey
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
Instructions:
- In a blender, combine Irish whiskey, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, chocolate syrup, instant coffee granules, vanilla extract, and almond extract if using.
- Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the Irish Cream into a bottle or jar with a tight-fitting lid.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Shake well before using, as it may separate over time.
- Serve over ice or use in your favorite cocktails.
