Chicken Katsu

Ingredients

Tonkatsu Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Tomato sauce
  • 3 tbsp Tonkatsu sauce
  • 2 tsp Cane sugar
  • 2 tbsp Mirin
  • 1tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Water

Chicken Cutlet

  • Chicken breast
  • *Shaving-cut
  • Salt and pepper
  • Plain Flour as required
  • Beaten egg
  • Panko Bread Crumbs as required 
  • Oil to fry 
  • Cooked Rice 
  • Shredded Cabbage as required
  • White sesame seeds

Directions

①Shred cabbage and microwave 600w for 1-2 minutes
②Put all seasonings in a small pan.
Cook for 2 minutes
③Cut chicken into bite-size pieces. Sprinkle with salt.
④Coat chicken with flour
Then dip them in beaten Eggs and finally coat with Panko Bread Crumbs.
Heat oil to 338 °F and deep fry until cooked through and golden, placet on a rack and drain the oil.
⑤Pack them in a bento box.
