Cheesy chicken bread rolls are a delicious and comforting snack or appetizer that are easy to make at home. Here is a simple recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound store-bought pizza dough
- 1 egg, beaten
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked and shredded chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, diced onions, diced red bell pepper, chopped parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the chicken and cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Starting at one end, tightly roll the pizza dough into a log, tucking in the ends to seal.
- Slice the log into 1-inch rounds and place them on a greased baking sheet or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the beaten egg over the top of each roll and sprinkle with sesame seeds (if using).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve the cheesy chicken bread rolls warm, garnished with additional chopped parsley if desired.
