House Favorite Roasted Brussels Sprouts

These House Favorite Brussels Sprouts are the best side veg and are speckled with bright bursts of cranberries and nutty walnuts. The perfect addition to any meal!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Brussels Sprouts:
    • Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
  3. Make the Dressing:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey or maple syrup, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Coat Brussels Sprouts:
    • Place the Brussels sprouts in a large bowl and drizzle the dressing over them. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.
  5. Roast in the Oven:
    • Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges. Shake the pan or toss the sprouts halfway through for even roasting.
  7. Optional: Add Parmesan Cheese:
    • If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts during the last 5 minutes of roasting.
  8. Serve:
    • Transfer the roasted Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and serve hot.
