One-Bowl Easy Chocolate Muffins
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the melted and cooled butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
- Add the vanilla extract and pour in the milk. Mix until the batter is smooth and well incorporated.
- If desired, fold in chocolate chips into the batter for an extra chocolatey touch.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
