Ingredients:

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For Cinnamon Sugar Filling:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

For Cream Cheese Glaze:

  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk

Cooking Steps:

Pancake Batter:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Set aside.

Cinnamon Sugar Filling: 4. In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until a smooth paste forms.

Assembling Cinnamon Roll Pancakes: 5. Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat. Grease lightly if needed.

  1. Pour a small amount of pancake batter onto the griddle to form a small pancake.
  2. Using a spoon, swirl a generous amount of the cinnamon sugar filling onto the pancake.

Cream Cheese Glaze: 10. In a bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and enough milk to achieve a pourable consistency.
