Crockpot Chicken Thighs

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

~Family pack of chicken thigs, bone and skin on
~1 tablespoon olive oil
~Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning

  • 1/4 cup of salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme...(I had this in the middle of the seasoning)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

1. Clean and pat chicken thighs dry with a paper towel, remove and trim loose skin and fat from the thighs.
2. pour olive oil on the bottom of your crockpot and spread evenly with your hand. mix your seasoning together in a bowl and sprinkle SOME of your seasoning covering the bottom of the crockpot. Place 6 or 8 thighs in your crockpot (depending on the size of your pot), and cover your chicken with the seasoning.
3. Place the lid of the chicken, set your temp. to LOW, and timer for 7 hours.
4. Serve these up with some HOMEMADE MASHED POTATOES, SOUTHERN STYLE GREEN BEANS, BAKED CORNBREAD AND A ICE COLD GLASS OF SWEET TEA.
