Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 1 tablespoon baking powder
  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  4. 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  5. 3/4 cup milk (approx. 160 kcal)

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Step 3: Add the vegetable oil to the dry ingredients, mixing until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Step 4: Gradually pour in the milk, stirring until a soft dough forms.

Step 5: Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently a few times. Pat the dough into a 1/2-inch thickness.

Step 6: Use a biscuit cutter to cut out rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 7: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.
