Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- Oil for frying

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps:
- Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Roll and Cut: Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut out donut shapes using a donut cutter or two differently sized round cutters.
- Heat Oil: In a deep pan, heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry Donuts: Carefully drop donuts into the hot oil. Fry each side until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- Prepare Glaze: In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to create the glaze.
- Dip or Drizzle: Dip each cooled donut into the glaze, ensuring even coverage. Alternatively, you can drizzle the glaze over the donuts.
