Chocolate Brownie

Chocolate Brownie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chunks

Steps:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
  2. Melt Butter and Sugar: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in sugar until well combined.
  3. Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla extract and mix until the batter is smooth and glossy.
  4. Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Sift together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in chocolate chips or chunks, ensuring an even distribution in the batter.
  6. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
  7. Cool and Cut: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan. Once cooled, cut them into squares or desired shapes.
  8. Serve: Serve these Chocolate Brownies at room temperature or slightly warm. Enjoy the gooey goodness!
