Panettone French Toast: Transforming leftover panettone into an exceptionally delicious recipe!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Panettone
  • 3 eggs
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) of milk
  • Vanilla essence
  • Cinnamon
  • 110g (1/2 cup) of maple syrup
  • Olive oil
  • 15g (1 tbsp) of butter
  • Powdered sugar
  • Fresh fruit

METHOD:

  1. Slice the panettone and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, vanilla essence, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Dip panettone slices into the mixture, ensuring they are well-coated, then transfer them to a pan with pre-added olive oil and butter.
  4. Fry the panettone slices until they achieve a golden brown color. Garnish with powdered sugar, maple syrup, and fresh fruit before serving.
