  1. 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  3. 2 1/4 teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  5. 3/4 cup whole milk, warmed
  6. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  7. 2 large eggs
  8. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  9. Oil for frying
  10. Powdered sugar for dusting

Cooking Steps:

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the mixture and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the yeast mixture.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing to form a dough.
