Keema Stuffed Chilli

Ingredients:

  • 8 large green chilies
  • 1/2 lb minced meat (chicken, lamb, or beef)
  • 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)

Preparation:

Step 1: Preparing the Chilies Make a lengthwise slit on each chili, creating a pocket without cutting through the chili. Remove seeds if you prefer a milder taste.

Step 2: Keema Filling In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw aroma disappears.

Step 3: Cooking Minced Meat Add minced meat to the pan and cook until it's browned. Add chopped tomatoes, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the mixture is well combined.

Step 4: Stuffing the Chilies Carefully stuff each chili with the keema mixture, ensuring they are well-filled.

Step 5: Cooking Stuffed Chilies In the same pan, place the stuffed chilies and cook on medium heat until the chilies are tender, and the keema is fully cooked.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve Garnish the Keema Stuffed Chilies with chopped fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot as a flavorful appetizer or side dish.
