Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind chutney
  • 1 tablespoon mint chutney
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Sev (crispy chickpea noodles) for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, green chili, and fresh cilantro.

Step 2: Add tamarind chutney and mint chutney to the mixture. Adjust the quantities according to your taste preferences.

Step 3: Sprinkle chaat masala and roasted cumin powder over the ingredients.

Step 4: Season the chaat with salt to taste and toss gently to coat everything evenly.

Step 5: Optional: Garnish with sev for added crunch and texture.

Step 6: Serve the tomato chaat immediately as a refreshing and flavorful snack or appetizer. Enjoy the burst of tangy and spicy flavors!
