Delicious Aloo Roll

Ingredients:
For the Aloo Filling:
- 3 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
For the Roll:
- Flatbreads or Rotis (store-bought or homemade)
- Mint chutney or tamarind chutney (optional)
- Sliced onions and tomatoes (optional)
Instructions:
For the Aloo Filling:
- In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté until onions turn golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Stir well.
- Add mashed potatoes and salt. Mix everything thoroughly and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro. Remove from heat and set aside.
For Assembling the Aloo Roll:
- Warm the flatbreads or rotis on a griddle or in a microwave.
- Place a generous amount of the aloo filling in the center of each flatbread.
- Optional: Drizzle with mint chutney or tamarind chutney for extra flavor.
- Add sliced onions and tomatoes if desired.
- Roll the flatbread around the filling, creating a tight roll or wrap.
- Serve the Aloo Roll immediately as a delicious and satisfying street food snack. Enjoy the burst of flavors!
