Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chana dal (split chickpeas)
  • 1 cup ghee
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Nuts for garnish (almonds, cashews)

Cooking Steps:

Step 1: Rinse and soak chana dal for a few hours, then grind into a coarse paste.

Step 2: Heat ghee in a pan, add the dal paste, and sauté until golden brown.

Step 3: Add sugar and continue cooking until the mixture thickens.

Step 4: Sprinkle cardamom powder and mix well.

Step 5: Garnish with nuts, and your Chana Dal Halwa is ready to be savored!
