Strawberry Muffins

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Cooking Steps:

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.

Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Step 3: In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and egg.

Step 4: Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Step 5: Gently fold in the diced strawberries.

Step 6: Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.

Step 7: Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 8: Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
