Restaurant Style Indo Chinese Starter Dragon Chicken
Ingredients:
- 500g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for deep frying
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2-3 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, julienned
- Spring onions for garnish
Steps:
Step 1: Marinate Chicken
- In a bowl, mix chicken pieces with soy sauce, chili sauce, ginger-garlic paste, cornstarch, beaten egg, salt, and pepper. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2: Deep Fry Chicken
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan. Fry the marinated chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
Step 3: Sauté Vegetables
- In another pan, sauté chopped onions, bell peppers, green chilies, minced garlic, and julienned ginger until vegetables are tender yet crisp.
Step 4: Combine Chicken and Vegetables
- Add the deep-fried chicken to the sautéed vegetables. Toss until well combined.
Step 5: Garnish
- Garnish with chopped spring onions for a burst of freshness.
