Schezwan Paneer Dry

Ingredients:

  1. 250g paneer, cut into cubes
  2. 3 tablespoons Schezwan sauce
  3. 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  4. 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  5. 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  6. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  7. 1 onion, thinly sliced
  8. 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  9. Spring onions for garnish
  10. Salt and pepper to taste
  11. Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Steps:

Step 1: Marinate Paneer

  • In a bowl, mix paneer cubes with Schezwan sauce, soy sauce, ginger-garlic paste, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2: Sauté Paneer

  • Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Add marinated paneer and cook until golden brown on all sides.

Step 3: Add Vegetables

  • Add thinly sliced onions and bell peppers to the pan. Sauté until they are slightly tender but still retain crunch.

Step 4: Season

  • Season with salt and pepper according to taste. Adjust Schezwan sauce for desired spiciness.

Step 5: Garnish

  • Garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds if desired.
