  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 4 burger buns
  • Your favorite burger toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, condiments)


Step 1: Preheat your grill or stovetop grilling pan over medium-high heat.

Step 2: Divide the ground beef into four equal portions, shaping each into a patty. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Step 3: Place the burger patties on the hot grill or pan. Cook for approximately 3-4 minutes per side for medium doneness, adjusting based on your preference.

Step 4: In the last minute of cooking, add cheese slices to the burgers if you desire melted cheese.
