Brie, Mushroom & Crispy Bacon Pasta
Ingredients:
- 8 oz (about 225g) pasta of your choice
- 6 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until they release their moisture and become golden brown.
- Add minced garlic to the mushrooms and sauté for an additional minute.
- Toss in the cooked and crumbled bacon, stirring to combine with the mushrooms and garlic.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the brie cheese cubes to the skillet. Stir until the cheese melts and forms a creamy sauce.
- Season the mixture with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy brie and mushroom sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
