Brie, Mushroom & Crispy Bacon Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (about 225g) pasta of your choice
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until they release their moisture and become golden brown.
  4. Add minced garlic to the mushrooms and sauté for an additional minute.
  5. Toss in the cooked and crumbled bacon, stirring to combine with the mushrooms and garlic.
  6. Reduce the heat to low and add the brie cheese cubes to the skillet. Stir until the cheese melts and forms a creamy sauce.
  7. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy brie and mushroom sauce.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
