- Place the shelled pistachios in a food processor or high-powered blender.
- Pulse the pistachios until they form a coarse powder.
- With the processor running, gradually add the neutral oil. Continue processing until the mixture becomes smooth and reaches the desired consistency.
- If you prefer a sweeter pistachio paste, add honey or powdered sugar to taste. Blend again until well combined.
- Stop and scrape down the sides of the processor or blender as needed to ensure an even texture.
- Taste the pistachio paste and adjust the sweetness or texture if necessary.
- Transfer the pistachio paste to a clean, airtight container.
- Store the pistachio paste in the refrigerator for freshness. It can be used in various recipes, such as pistachio ice cream, pastries, or even as a spread.
