Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking sheet.

Step 2: In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and butter together. Allow it to cool slightly.

Step 3: Whisk in the granulated sugar until well combined.

Step 4: Add the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.

Step 5: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Step 6: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, stirring until just combined.

Step 7: Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet.

Step 8: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.

Step 9: Allow the Chocolate Blossoms to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Step 10: Dust with powdered sugar for an elegant finish.
