The Art of Croissant making
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup warm milk
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- (Optional) Chocolate chips or ham and cheese for filling

Steps:
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Cut cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Dissolve yeast in warm water and milk, then add to the flour mixture.
- Knead the dough until smooth, then refrigerate for an hour.
- Roll out the dough, fold in thirds, and repeat twice.
- Cut the dough into triangles and add filling if desired.
- Roll each triangle into a crescent shape.
- Let the croissants rise for an hour.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Enjoy your homemade croissants!
