Easy White Cake

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk

Steps:

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.

Step 2: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

Step 3: In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 4: Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.

Step 5: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture.

Step 6: Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and smooth the tops.

Step 7: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 8: Allow the Easy White Cake to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Frost as desired or enjoy it simply as is.
