- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk

- For the Frosting:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Food coloring (optional)
- For the Coating and Decorations:
- White or colored candy melts

- Lollipop sticks
Cooking Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a cake pop mold.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with milk, until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the cake pop mold and bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake pops to cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, prepare the frosting by beating together butter, powdered sugar, and milk. Add food coloring if desired.
- Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs and mix with the frosting until a dough-like consistency is achieved.
- Form the mixture into small cake balls and insert a lollipop stick into each.
- Melt candy melts and dip each cake pop, coating them evenly. Decorate with festive sprinkles.
