Crispy Chicken Chilli Wontons
Ingredients:
For Chicken Filling:
- 1 cup ground chicken
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chili oil (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
For Wontons:
- Wonton wrappers
- Water (for sealing wontons)
For Dipping Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional for extra heat)
- Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Preparation:
Step 1: Make Chicken Filling In a bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, chili oil, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Step 2: Assemble Wontons Place a small amount of the chicken filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it diagonally to create a triangle, pressing the edges to seal.
Step 3: Shape Wontons Take the two opposite corners of the triangle and bring them together, sealing them with a bit of water. This forms a small crown shape.
