Easy Brownie Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts or additional chocolate chips
Steps:
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: In a heatproof bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter together, either using a microwave or a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
Step 3: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 4: In another bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Step 5: Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, stirring until smooth.
Step 6: Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
Step 7: If desired, stir in chopped nuts or additional chocolate chips.
Step 8: Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart.
Step 9: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are set and have a crackly top.
Step 10: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
