Toasted Chicken Mayo Sandwich
Ingredients:
- Cooked and shredded chicken - 1 cup
- Mayonnaise - 3 tablespoons
- Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Celery - 1 stalk, finely chopped
- Red onion - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper - to taste
- Bread slices - 8
- Butter - for spreading
Steps:
Step 1: In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped celery, red onion, salt, and pepper.
Step 2: Spread a generous amount of the chicken mayo mixture on one side of each bread slice.
Step 3: Assemble sandwiches by placing two slices together with the chicken mayo side facing inwards.
Step 4: Lightly butter the outer sides of the assembled sandwiches.
Step 5: Toast the sandwiches in a pan or sandwich press until golden brown and the filling is warmed through.
Step 6: Slice the sandwiches diagonally and serve hot. Enjoy the delightful crunch and creamy goodness of the toasted chicken mayo sandwich!
