Breakfast Pancakes

Ingredients:
- All-purpose flour (1 cup)
- Baking powder (2 teaspoons)
- Sugar (2 tablespoons)
- Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
- Milk (1 cup)
- Egg (1)
- Butter (2 tablespoons, melted)
- Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
- Optional toppings: Maple syrup, fresh berries, sliced bananas, or whipped cream
Preparation Steps:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg and add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined; lumps are okay.
- Heat a griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Grease the surface with a little butter or cooking spray.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
- Remove from the griddle and repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve the breakfast pancakes warm with your favorite toppings.
