Easy Keema Curry thats Ready in 30 Minutes

Ingredients:

  1. Minced beef (500g)
  2. Onion (1 large, finely chopped)
  3. Tomatoes (2 medium, chopped)
  4. Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  5. Ginger (1-inch piece, grated)
  6. Green chilies (2, finely chopped)
  7. Cooking oil (2 tablespoons)
  8. Cumin seeds (1 teaspoon)
  9. Ground turmeric (1/2 teaspoon)
  10. Ground cumin (1 teaspoon)
  11. Ground coriander (1 teaspoon)
  12. Garam masala (1 teaspoon)
  13. Red chili powder (1/2 teaspoon, adjust to taste)
  14. Salt (to taste)
  15. Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

Preparation Steps:

  1. In a large pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
  2. Add finely chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chilies. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add minced beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  5. Stir in ground turmeric, ground cumin, ground coriander, garam masala, and red chili powder. Mix well.
  6. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and release their juices.
  7. Season with salt and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes until the mixture is well-cooked and aromatic.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
