The Best Shrimp Po Boy Sandwich
Ingredients
For Fried Shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
For Remoulade Sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 1 teaspoon paprika

- Salt and pepper to taste
For Assembly:
- French baguette or Po Boy rolls
- Lettuce, shredded
- Tomato, sliced
- Pickles (optional)
Steps
For Fried Shrimp: Step 1: In a bowl, marinate shrimp in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2: In another bowl, combine flour, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
