Ingredients:

  • Hard-boiled eggs, peeled
  • Vegetarian sausage (store-bought or homemade)
  • Bread crumbs
  • Flour for coating
  • Egg wash (whisked egg)
  • Cooking oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

Step 1: Prepare hard-boiled eggs and peel them.

Step 2: Season and mold the vegetarian sausage around each hard-boiled egg, ensuring an even coating.

Step 3: Roll each sausage-covered egg in flour, dip in egg wash, and coat with breadcrumbs.

Step 4: Heat cooking oil in a pan for frying.

Step 5: Carefully fry each Vegetarian Scotch Egg until golden brown and crispy.

Step 6: Remove from the oil and let them drain on a paper towel.

Step 7: Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 8: Slice each Vegetarian Scotch Egg in half to reveal the soft-boiled center.
