Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast at Home

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season each chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Ensure both sides are well coated.
  3. Wrap each seasoned chicken breast with two slices of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if needed.
  4. Place a wire rack on a baking sheet to allow the bacon to crisp up on all sides.
  5. Brush the bacon-wrapped chicken breasts with olive oil for added moisture and flavor.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the bacon is crispy.
  7. If desired, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to further crisp up the bacon.
  8. Carefully remove the toothpicks before serving.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve the Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast hot.
