Honey Hot Wings for Game Day

Ingredients:
For the Wings:
- 2 lbs chicken wings, split at joints, tips discarded
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Oil for frying
For the Honey Hot Sauce:
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Step 1: Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Coat each wing in flour, shaking off any excess.
Step 2: In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat oil to 375°F (190°C). Fry wings in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes.
Step 3: While the wings are frying, prepare the Honey Hot Sauce. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add hot sauce, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Stir until well combined, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the Honey Hot Sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
Step 5: Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
